No Returns, No Refunds Policy
All sales at Gold City Jewelry are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on any items under any circumstances. Please be sure of your purchase before completing the transaction.
Absolutely no refunds will be issued for any reason.
Custom orders, jewelry repairs, and all other services are also non-refundable. We take pride in the quality of our goods and services, and all items are inspected before they leave our store.
Gold Buying Policy
At Gold City Jewelry, once you sell us any item, the transaction is final. All items sold are immediately processed and cannot be returned to the customer. We ensure that all transactions are handled professionally and securely, in compliance with all applicable laws.
Offers Are Valid for the Day Only: The price we offer for your gold is based on the market price for that day. If you come back another day, the price will be re-evaluated based on the current market rate for that day. This policy protects both our business and the customer, as prices may go up or down depending on the market.
We offer competitive prices based on the current gold market rate, and we will provide an evaluation of your gold before purchase. All evaluations and payments are final, and payments are made in cash or via bank transfer at the time of the sale.
Brand New Goods Only
We take pride in offering only brand new, high-quality goods to our customers. Gold City Jewelry does not resell any used or second-hand items. All products in our store are new and have been carefully selected to meet the highest standards.
This ensures that every purchase you make from us is fresh, untouched, and of superior quality.
Custom Orders and Repairs
We provide expert custom jewelry design and repair services. Here are the details:
- Custom Orders: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin any custom order. Custom orders are generally completed within 4-6 weeks, depending on complexity.
- Jewelry Repairs: Repairs can take as little as 1 business day or up to 2 business weeks, depending on the complexity of the repair. Every repair is unique and assessed based on the time required.
- No Warranty on Repairs: Due to the nature of certain jewelry items, such as hollow rope chains, repairs are not guaranteed to make the item indestructible. If a repaired item breaks again, especially in the same location, we will assess the situation and reserve the right to decide whether to repair it again for free or at an additional cost.
Please note: Custom orders and repairs are not eligible for refunds, and repairs come with no warranties.
Item Inspection Policy
We encourage all customers to inspect jewelry items in-store before completing a purchase. Once the transaction is completed, no returns or exchanges will be accepted. This policy ensures that customers are satisfied with their items at the time of purchase.
Payment Methods Accepted
We offer flexible payment methods for your convenience:
- Cash: Accepted in-store.
- Credit/Debit Cards: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
- Bank Transfers: Available for larger transactions such as gold sales or custom orders.
Please note: As per our policy, we do not accept or pay interest on any transactions.
Lost or Damaged Item Policy
Gold City Jewelry is not responsible for any loss or damage to items left for repair or custom work beyond the value of the item itself. In the unlikely event of loss or damage, compensation will be determined based on the item’s original appraisal value.
Right to Refuse Service
Gold City Jewelry reserves the right to refuse service to any individual at our discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, situations involving inappropriate or abusive behavior.
Handling Stolen Items Policy
Gold City Jewelry is committed to ethical business practices. We strictly comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding the sale of second-hand items. Any attempt to sell stolen items will be reported to law enforcement. We reserve the right to refuse any transaction if we suspect the items may have been obtained unlawfully.
Sales Tax Policy
Sales tax is applied to all non-exempt purchases, including jewelry and custom orders. Bullion sales are tax-exempt in New York State. Please ensure you confirm whether your purchase is subject to tax.
Appointment Scheduling Policy
We encourage appointments for custom orders and gold sales. Here are the details:
- Appointment Hours: Appointments are available Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Booking: You can schedule an appointment by calling us at 347-552-7879 or using our online booking system.
- Cancellations: Please notify us 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Pick-Up Policy for Repairs and Custom Orders
Customers are expected to pick up repaired or custom jewelry items within 30 days of notification. After 60 days, uncollected items will be subject to a storage fee, and after 90 days, unclaimed items may be resold to cover costs.
Customer ID Requirement for Transactions
A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all gold sales and purchases. This is to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to prevent fraudulent transactions.
